Project managers and volunteers were busy this weekend putting up the Hessian walls on the shearing interpretation shed. Next week the artefact&#8217;s and final touch ups will be done ready for the opening on the 8th February.


Thanks to the Southern Midlands Council for the grant to install the two water tanks and fire equipment.

Last Friday 28th November saw the launch of the Bare Bellies, Butts &#38; All calendar at the Royal Hobart Hospital. We had the stars from the calendar on show with the sheep, kelpie, shearers and wool classers all getting into the spirit of the event.

<p>Money raised from the calendar goes toward the establishment of the shearing interpretation shed as well as the men&#8217;s/farm shed and every calendar sold $1 goes to the burns unit. The money raised for the burns unit will help with the refurbishment of some of the rooms to make patients feel more comfortable.</p>
